Armchair Botany Forum – Imaging and Imagining the Sherwin Carlquist Collection
This forum has now passed. You can view the recording on our YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/3QO0G207f8c
Our Armchair Botany events are forums for presentation and discussion about botany, herbarium specimens, and collections – and an invitation to get involved!
Join us and the Sherwin Carlquist Imaging Team (Sam Ekberg, Digitization Technician and Krishna Shenoy, Project Archivist) on Thursday, March 14th at noon via Zoom for a behind the scenes look at how they process images, making adjustments to account for the imperfections and natural condition of the artifact. They will show amazing before and after examples and provide an armchair tour of Carlquist’s talent as a botanist and a photographer.
