Early Childhood Programs

Growing Together

With both the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas as educational resources, we are proud to offer hands-on, nature-based educational programming to local families.

If you are interested in receiving seasonal updates focused on children and family-oriented programming from the Education department, email cgarza@brit.org to sign up for our “Education Family Events” direct email list. This list typically receives an email once every 3 months. To help avoid these being mislabeled as junk mail, please whitelist the brit.org domain in your email account. Thank you!

Registration for Early Childhood Programs opens 2 months prior to each session! Scroll down to view all upcoming dates, or click the buttons below to register now for the currently available sessions.

Come visit our StoryWalk®

Visit the Pollinator Pathway to walk through beautifully illustrated children’s books that focus on nature. Each page encourages guests to interact with their surroundings and consider natural wonders while reading through the exhibit. Free and accessible to everyone, the StoryWalk® at FWBG|BRIT supports literacy, learning, and attention to nature.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

A special thank you to the Fort Worth Garden Club for their continued support of our community. This kind and generous donation makes science-literacy possible for all visitors who walk and read through this StoryWalk®.
