In September and October, the summer heat is beginning to retreat. During this time plants take the opportunity to blossom once more before autumn arrives.
In the Fuller Garden, the trumpet vines are in bloom.
Perennials continue blooming in the Long Bed.
Flowers and shrubs are in peak mode in the Trial Garden.
Shaded walkways and benches in the Four Seasons Garden are a perfect place to sit back and enjoy nature.
Oxblood lilies, Red spider lilies, Sweet autumn clematis, Indian grass, Sideoats grama, Goldenrod, Maximillian daily, Lilies of the Field, Candletree, Mexican bush sage, Autumn sage, Fall aster, Mexican mint, marigold.
