Located in the heart of Fort Worth’s cultural district, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is the oldest major botanic garden in Texas, having been established in 1934. Long celebrated for its beautiful rose and Japanese gardens, the FWBG contains over 2,500 species of plants and consists of twenty-three specialty gardens, including a tropical conservatory, a forest boardwalk, and a water conservation garden. In addition, the Garden contains numerous naturalized areas and vistas.
