The Trial Garden consists of a gazebo encircled by raised flower beds bursting with a variety of perennials. As its name suggests, this garden was established to test the performance of perennials in the climate of north-central Texas. Originally, seed companies and rose growers from across the nation provided new plant varieties for testing in this garden. Volunteers reflect data on these varieties and help maintain this garden.
