The FWBG|BRIT SEED (Sustainable Environmental Education Design) School inspires and supports educators in connecting learners to nature through the use of outdoor classrooms to explore nature in an urban environment. Educator Professional Development

Available Year-Round,  Monday – Friday 9 am – 3 pm. 

$6 /student; $5 / registered adult

We offer internships to qualified applicants at both the Botanical Research Institute of Texas and the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. With this opportunity, interns gain hands-on experience with professionals in the fields of botany, horticulture, education, marketing, and conservation!

Get ready to grow your science inquiry tool kit as an Early Childhood Educator! Join us as we bring you special guest speakers and meaningful breakout sessions to dive deeper into outdoor STEM for young children. Connect with fellow educators as we develop a supportive Professional Learning Network to encourage using your outdoor spaces to your best advantage!

Synergy Sessions are educator-driven lectures and discussion around hot topics trending in environmental education. These sessions will include content and topics that can be applied to all grade levels. The theme for Spring 2022 is Future of e-STEM.
