Educator Professional Development
Our Professional Development programs provide educators with the opportunity to expand their science inquiry toolkit and explore practical strategies for creating meaningful, nature-based learning experiences. Designed with our learning community in mind, these programs foster connection and collaboration through hands-on activities, engaging discussions, and networking with fellow educators. Each session is informative, inclusive, and family-friendly—supporting both personal growth and classroom impact.
Early Childhood Impact Series
Discover hands-on ways to bring nature into your classroom and strategies for taking students outdoors with BLOOM (Brilliant Learning with Outdoor Opportunities and Motivation)! In this 3 CPE credit professional development for PreK-1st grade teachers, learn how to start a classroom worm bin and leave with a starter bin, worms, lessons, and the confidence to keep them thriving. You’ll also explore strategies for experiential outdoor learning, including how to meet science TEKS with rigor and wonder. Lunch, snacks, and materials are included in registration.
