Field Trips

Join us on our beautiful 110-acre campus for some educational fun! Teachers and students will analyze and connect with the natural world through exploration in our outdoor classrooms. Elementary students are encouraged to engage their curiosity through observation and inquiry. Middle and high school students further investigate STEM concepts and careers.

All field trips include:

  • admission to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden
  • designated bus parking
  • $5 rate for adults included in pre-paid registration*
  • discounted rates available for Title 1 schools
  • additional features are listed below; full-page descriptions are available for each experience through the buttons

Final participant counts and payments are due two weeks prior to the visit date.

*$5 rate is only available for pre-paid registrations. Adult aides required for students’ 504 accommodations are always free and should be reported separately from the teacher and adult numbers during the registration process.

Self-Guided Exploration

Program Information

Field Trips at the Garden invite students to explore, discover, and engage with nature on-campus and after they have left. Self-Guided field trips offer classes discounted access to our outdoor classrooms, while facilitated field trips offer fun, standards-aligned activities with a focus on environmental STEM exploration.
