Discover water bath canning and create a unique, delicious barbeque sauce bursting with flavor from apricots and plums! Join our Master Wellness instructor as she guides you through the hands-on process of cooking and canning and offers expert tips and tricks to ensure success. You will leave with your own batch of homemade–er, Garden-made–barbeque sauce, ready to elevate your culinary creations! Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden after class!

Instructor: Michelle Cappo is a Master Food Preserver, an Advanced Master Food Safety Advisor and a Master Wellness volunteer affiliated with TAMU’s AgriLife Extension Service in Tarrant County who is passionate about teaching safe food preservation techniques.
