48 Form Tai Chi

Join us for 48 Form Tai Chi and learn to incorporate gentle movement into your life! Tai Chi is an ancient practice consisting of low-impact, slow-motion movement. The movements are intentional and meditative, improving muscle strength, flexibility, balance and aerobic conditioning. In this fun, no-judgment class, you will learn a series of 48 Tai Chi poses–known traditionally as “forms”. When weather permits, sessions will be held in the Japanese Garden’s Pavilion surrounded by Japanese Maples. Registration includes Garden admission for the day—feel free to explore the Garden after class at your leisure.

Registration includes a series of 8 sessions – We cannot provide partial refunds for missed sessions.

Mondays, March 18, 25, April 1, 15, 22, 29, May 6 and 13 (3:00-4:00pm)

Please note that 48-Form Tai Chi will NOT meet on April 8. The Garden will be hosting Eclipse in the Garden on that day, and we are expecting a larger number of Garden guests than usual.  Of course, we encourage you join us at Eclipse in the Garden on April 8!  You can find more information on this event here: https://fwbg.org/events/eclipse-in-the-garden/
