Step outside on a summer day in Texas and you’ll experience the power of solar energy! Solar energy devices can, however, power your outdoor lights and heat the water in your home or swimming pool. And you can benefit from passive solar energy by opening the shades in the winter to let the sun warm your home. We can also learn from our grandparents and use a clothesline to dry our clothes.
