Members-Only Webinar: Mindful Gardening – A Growth Opportunity presented by UNT Health Science Center

Gardening is an excellent opportunity to practice mindfulness, for it can be a daily activity that invites one to be present and curious in its very nature. The act of gardening also invites compassion for oneself and for the environment while creating a functional ecosystem. Whether one chooses to meditate while gardening in their backyard, or while exploring the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Garden, bringing mindfulness practices into time spent in nature can have a variety of health benefits including relieving stress.

Join us for this webinar with Cynthia Powell, MA, CHWC, IWLC, Assistant Professor with the Department of Lifestyle Health Sciences, at The University of North Texas Health Science Center, to learn more about the host of benefits gained by incorporating your interest in gardening into a regular mindfulness practice.
