Members-Only Philecology Herbarium & Research Library Tour
If you have ever wondered about the hundreds of years worth of specimens and publications cared for and referenced in our collections, this is the tour for you! FWBG members are invited to an exclusive guided tour of the Philecology Herbarium and the Research Library, led by Tiana Rehman, Herbarium Director, and Ana Nino, Librarian. This behind-the-scenes tour will give you access to the inner workings of these two active botanical research collections, and allow us to share our hidden treasures with you, contributed by legendary botanists and artists. This tour will be held entirely indoors in the climate-controlled spaces of the BRIT building on the FWBG campus.
Tour length: 60 minutes.
Terrain: Smooth, elevators or stairs will be required. Opportunities to sit are available.
