Dig into the world of kokedama, a traditional Japanese gardening technique that turns plants into beautiful moss-covered works of art. Our skilled horticulturist will unveil the history and artistic principles behind these living sculptures and provide guidance as you practice the technique to create your own kokedama planter. Elevate your indoor gardening skills and bring home a unique and eye-catching botanical display perfect for bringing a touch of nature indoors. Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!

Materials: If you own gardening gloves, please bring a pair. All other materials provided.

Location: Check-in at Botanical Research Institute of Texas building / Park in main lot
