Homeschool Day: Flower Power
This program is now sold out. Please contact mschmidlkofer@fwbg.org to be added to the waitlist.
Homeschool Days are designed with the unique needs of homeschool students and their families in mind. Come grow with us as we explore environmental science topics through hands-on investigation and engaging activities for the whole family. These programs are sure to energize homeschool students in their quest to discover more about the natural world!
Homeschool Day programs are recommended for children with learning needs equivalent to kindergarten through 5th grade.
In this Homeschool Day program, students will investigate flowers inside and out, learn about interdependence in ecosystems, and tour the special World of Orchids exhibit!
Monday, March 6 (10:00 – 11:30 am)
Registration deadline: Thursday, March 2
$10 /student, $5 /adult
An email with program details, including the location on site, will be sent to all registrants the day after the registration deadline. To help avoid this important communication being mislabeled as junk mail, please whitelist the fwbg.org domain with your email provider.
*This event takes place outdoors. In the event of pending inclement weather, registrants will be notified the day before the program if the rain date (March 20) will be used.
