Homeschool Day: Butterflies in the Garden – March 25
Homeschool Days are designed with the unique needs of homeschool students and their families in mind. Come grow with us as we explore environmental science topics through hands-on investigation and engaging activities for the whole family. These programs are sure to energize homeschool students in their quest to discover more about the natural world!
This Homeschool Day program gets students up close and personal with a favorite insect friend – the butterfly! Join us for a visit to the 2024 Butterflies in the Garden exhibit as well as engaging activities that highlight the beautiful butterfly’s life cycle, adaptations, and importance as a pollinator!
Homeschool Days programs are recommended for children with learning needs equivalent to kindergarten through 5th grade.
Monday, March 25 (10:00 – 11:30 am) – Can’t make this date? Homeschool Day: Butterflies in the Garden will also take place on Monday, March 18
Registration deadline: Thursday, March 21
$12 /Participant| $10 /Member Participant
$10 /Adult | $8 /Member Adult*
Children must be accompanied by a registered adult. Pricing for this Homeschool Day program includes timed entry to the Butterflies in the Garden exhibit as part of the program and general admission for the day.
Location: Check-in at the BRIT Building – park in the Main Lot
