Growing Food on a Budget
This hands-on workshop will explore inexpensive or free resources to achieve thriving vegetable gardens. Soil amendments, affordable inputs and materials, and local resources are often readily available to us if we have the desire to look. You’ll leave with innovative ways to grow delicious food successfully on a budget.
Instructor: David Cole is currently the Learning Lab Manager and an adjunct faculty member for the Horticulture program at Tarrant County College (TCC), where he has been for six years. David has worked in Texas agriculture for over 20 years in a diversity of fields. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Soil and Crop Science.
