Girls Nature Workshop: Holiday for the Birds
Registration for this program is now closed. We hope to see you in February!
Together in partnership, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG|BRIT present the Girls Nature Workshops series! These hands-on programs connect girls and their families to the fascinating world of horticulture and floriculture. Each workshop highlights skills and activities designed to inspire the next generation of plant-lovers and environmental stewards.
Girl Scouts can complete badge work through these programs, but all girls are welcome! Please note: petals or badges are not available on-site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
In the December session, participants will share holiday gift giving with our feathered friends by making biodegradable bird treats to hang on trees in the garden. They’ll also learn plenty of fun bird facts and enjoy hot cocoa or apple cider!
This series is recommended for ages 7-12. Registration includes admission to the Garden for the day!
Saturday, December 10 (1:00 – 2:30 pm)
Registration deadline: December 7
$10 /participant, $10 adult
Check-in: BRIT – park in main lot
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact volunteers@brit.org
