Girls Nature Workshop: Holiday Botany
Attention: all girls interested in floral design and horticultural skills, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG|BRIT are partnering to offer a series of 5 nature-based workshops that will connect you to the beauty of nature. Each program will on one or more skills and highlight special spaces at the Garden and Research Institute. Members of the Girl Scouts can complete badge work, but all girls – not just Scouts – are welcome!
In December, learn how to make a Kokedama, an ornamental Japanese moss ball, to give as a gift or keep for yourself! We’ll also explore favorite edible plants around the holidays with a cocoa bar!
Date: Saturday, December 4
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: FWBG
Registration Closes: December 1
Price: $10 /Participant or $5 /Parent (Includes Garden Admission for the day – great savings!)
In partnership with the Fort Worth Garden Club.
The safety of our staff and guests is very important to us; masks are recommended during the program.
