Our expert instructor will cover types of bulbs, recommendations for North Texas soils, light and water requirements, and best practices for planting, watering and fertilizing your bulbs. Instructor: Joyce Block joined the Fort Worth Botanic Garden as the Curator of the Rainforest Conservatory in 2014. She has a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture from Texas Tech and an Associates of Applied Science in Horticulture with an emphasis in Retail Floral, Interior Plants, Garden Center Management and Greenhouse Production from the University of Minnesota. She has been a Texas Master Gardener since 2002 and previously served as the President, Past President and a media representative for the Minnesota River Valley Master Gardeners. Joyce is a Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional through the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association and the editor and one of the main writers for a weekly gardening column for the Cleburne Times-Review.
Location: BRIT Building – park in the main lot.
