Drawing the Garden: Pollinator Pathway

Eager to engage your inner-artist and learn, or polish, drawing skills? This monthly drawing class offers personal instruction in mastering line, form, shading, composition, balance, and more as you practice in the beauty and tranquility of our gardens. After class, explore the Gardens at your leisure; registration includes Garden admission for the day.
This month we will be drawing in the Pollinator Pathway, which showcases our butterflies and other pollinators, the migratory routes they take, and the native plants they pollinate.
In June, July and August, we will beat the heat with an earlier program time. Drawing the Garden in these months will start at 9:00 and end at 11:00 am.
Saturday, July 1 (9:00 – 11:00 am)
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, June 28
$35 /Non-Member or $30 /Member
Materials: your favorite drawing pencils and pens, and paper
Instructor: Erika Duque Scully is a landscape and nature-based painter who lives and works in Fort Worth, TX. Scully received her BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her MFA in painting at Texas Christian University. She has been featured in over thirty solo and group shows throughout the Metroplex. In 2017, Scully was nominated by Ro2 Gallery for Rising Star Fundraiser at the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts. She is currently represented by Fort Works Art Gallery in Fort Worth.
Location: Pollinator Pathway – Park and check-in at Main Lot.
