Drawing in the Garden: Japanese Garden

Registration for this class is now closed. We hope to see you next month!

Eager to engage your inner-artist and learn, or polish, drawing skills? This monthly drawing class offers personal instruction in mastering line, form, shading, composition, balance, and more as you practice in the beauty and tranquility of our gardens. After class, explore the Gardens at your leisure; registration includes Garden admission for the day. In June, July, August and September, we will beat the heat with an earlier program time. Drawing the Garden in these months will start at 9:00 and end at 11:00 am.

In September, we will draw the much-beloved Japanese Garden. A traditional strolling garden, it features winding paths through cherry trees, Japanese maples, bridges and ponds filled with koi fish.
