Drawing in the Garden: Japanese Garden
Registration for this class is now closed. We hope to see you for another Botanical Creative Arts class soon!
Looking to discover – or polish – your drawing skills in the natural beauty of the Garden? Bring your favorite portable medium and explore a new artistic focus each month. Local artist Erika Duque Scully will start with a demonstration, then answer questions and provide tips and one-on-one attention throughout a free-drawing session. We will end by gathering to share our experiences and drawings. Registration includes Garden admission for the day—feel free to explore the Garden after class at your leisure.
In June, join us in the Japanese Garden and try out new drawing techniques to capture the ever-changing views of Japanese maples, magnolias, bamboo, bridges and ponds filled with koi fish.
Saturday, June 1 (9:00 – 11:00am)
Registration Deadline: May 29, 2024
