Homeschool Day: Plants on Our Plates – October 9
This session is sold out – click here to join the waitlist, OR register now for Monday, October 16!
Homeschool Days are designed with the unique needs of homeschool students and their families in mind. Come grow with us as we explore environmental science topics through hands-on investigation and engaging activities for the whole family. These programs are sure to energize homeschool students in their quest to discover more about the natural world! Homeschool Days are recommended for children with learning needs equivalent to kindergarten through 5th grade.
Did you know that plants not only produce 98% of the oxygen we breathe, but 80% of the food we eat! In this Homeschool Day program for children ages 4-11, we’ll grow our minds and palates as we make and taste-test a delicious plant-based recipe, learn how indigenous peoples used plants to survive and more!
