Craig started volunteering with the herbarium in 2021, and was hired on as a full-time Herbarium Digitization Technician supporting the All Asia National Science Foundation Digitization TCN in 2023. He was originally supposed to major in English, but fell in love with the jack-of-all-trades nature of Earth science in GEO101. He studied iceberg scars on Antarctic seafloor as an undergrad, and ground-penetrating radar along the Alabama coast in grad school. After school, his career gradually transitioned out of rocks and into software development, Big Data, and project management. Craig’s into Enneagram personality models, classical music, and TTRPGs.
