Girls Nature Workshop: Holiday for the Birds
Together in partnership, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG present the Girls Nature Workshops series! These hands-on programs connect girls and their families to the fascinating world of horticulture and floriculture. Each workshop highlights skills and activities designed to inspire the next generation of plant lovers and environmental stewards.
Although Girls Nature Workshops are not specifically designed to meet badge requirements, Girl Scouts are welcome to complete badge work through these programs. Please note: petals or badges are not available on-site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
In December, participants will share holiday gift-giving with our feathered friends by making biodegradable bird treats to hang on trees in the garden and bird feeders to take home. They’ll also learn plenty of fun bird facts and enjoy hot cocoa or apple cider!
This series is recommended for ages 7-12. Registration includes admission to the Garden for the day!
Saturday, December 2 (1:00 – 2:30 pm)
Registration deadline: Wednesday, November 29
