S.E.E.D. Camp: Wilderness Skills – June 26 – 30
This session is sold out. Register now for July 10 – 14. Or, click here to be added to the waitlist.
Join us for S.E.E.D (Summer Exploration, Engagement, and Discovery) Camp in the Garden! Campers will explore the grounds of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and Botanical Research Institute of Texas while learning about the natural world, growing into young scientists, and having fun!
Spending time in nature opens our hearts and minds, but it can take some savvy skills to navigate safely! In this camp for children ages 8 to 11, we’ll become leaders in outdoor citizenship and hone our survival chops in the supportive environment of the garden. Campers will learn to identify resources and threats in nature, construct a survival shelter, and build teamwork through fun challenges!
Monday, June 26 – Friday, June 30 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) *
Registration deadline: Sunday, June 11
$250 /Non-Member or $220 /Member
This camp is designed for children ages 8 through 11 or with equivalent learning needs.
An email with program details and a Camper Information Form will be sent two weeks before your camper’s first day. To help avoid this important communication being accidentally mislabeled as junk mail, please whitelist the fwbg.org domain with your email provider.
