Gardens for Peace
Gardens for Peace (G4P) is a North American Japanese Garden Association (NAJGA) project that brings communities together in Japanese gardens to promote peace.
The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is excited to be a part of Gardens for Peace. Join us on September 21 and watch our Japanese Garden Horticulture Manager rake a “peace pattern” into the sand while learning about the pattern’s origin. Enjoy a morning in the Japanese Garden and participate in activities including origami, a wishing tree and mini Zen dry gardens. Join us and be a part of our community’s wish for peace!
This event is included as part of regular Garden admission on Saturday, Sept. 21 and will be held in the Japanese Garden from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. To view a Japanese Garden Map, visit here.
