FAQs
-
By registering and participating in Garden programs, participants grant permission to the Garden and its designees to utilize participants’ image, likeness, actions, or statements in any form taken during a visit to the institution for the purpose of promoting it and its other locations in perpetuity.
-
Can I cancel my registration?
- To receive an 85% refund, please email adult-ed@fwbg.org at least ten calendar days prior to the start of the class and include your name, phone number and the name of the class. No refunds are granted less than ten calendar days before the class starts.
- If the refund window has passed, consider gifting your seat to a friend or family member. To do so, please email adult-ed@fwbg.org at least two days before the start of class and include the class name, the new participant’s name and their email address.
When might the Garden cancel class?
- A class is canceled if it does not meet the minimum registration requirement two business days prior to the class. Register early to help ensure that the class you want is not canceled due to low enrollment and encourage your friends to do the same!
- If Adult Education must cancel a class, you will be notified by email two business days prior to the class and offered these options: we can transfer your ticket to another class right away (or classes, so long as the new value does not exceed the original value)or provide a full refund to the original form of payment.
What happens in case of inclement weather?
- Inclement weather plans vary by class and are included on class registration pages. Please take note of your class’s plan and if a rain date is included, plan for its potential use.
- The decision to use the inclement weather plan will be communicated to you via email by 5pm the day before class.
- A class’s inclement weather plan will be used if heavy rain and/or lightning is present. Light rain typically does not necessitate the use of a weather plan. In cases of snow and ice, weather plans will be used for indoor and outdoor classes if the Garden must close.
- Refunds are not granted for registrants unable to attend a rain date. If you choose, you may gift your seat in the class to a friend or family member. To do so, please email adult-ed@fwbg.org at least two days before the scheduled rain date and include the class name, the new participant’s name and their email address.
