BLOOM Teacher Professional Development

Discover hands-on ways to bring nature into your classroom and strategies for taking students outdoors with BLOOM (Brilliant Learning with Outdoor Opportunities and Motivation). This 3 CPE credit professional development session for PreK–1st grade teachers covers how to start a classroom worm bin — you’ll leave with a starter bin, worms, lessons, and the confidence to keep them thriving. You’ll also explore strategies for experiential outdoor learning, including how to meet science TEKS with rigor and wonder. Lunch, snacks, and materials are included in registration.
