En Plein Air Watercolor: Four Seasons Garden

Embark on a historical tradition of outdoor painting with guided lessons in the Garden’s tranquil morning light. Through guided exercises and individual practice, you’ll learn to capture the light and compositions using the spontaneity of watercolor. This class is suitable for both new painters and practiced watercolorists. Join us monthly to paint the changing seasons and explore new Garden areas.

Gather in the crisp autumnal textures of our Four Seasons Garden. Abundant beds filled with florals, trees, and shrubs will ensure inspiration for your watercolor paintings. Dress for outdoor activity, as the weather may surprise your current wardrobe.

Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!
