Cassandra joined the FWBG Education team in 2023 as the Adult Education Program Assistant. She brings over 10 years of adult education experience, most recently serving as a contract learning and development (L&D) trainer and facilitator in the DFW area.
Cassandra’s passion is working alongside adults in a learning environment. She specializes in designing and delivering effective learning experiences that support the organization’s mission. She is an expert in the application of adult learning principles and methodologies that increase learning program effectiveness.
She earned a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Western Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!)
Cassandra was introduced to the wonders of the natural world as a volunteer at FWBG in August of 2022 (yes, this is a shameless plug for the amazing volunteer opportunities at FWBG). Her favorite part of working at FWBG is learning alongside fellow community members in the Adult Education classes.
