Starting June 30, the Café will be temporarily closed for renovations and will reopen this fall under new management.

En Plein Air Watercolor: Native Texas Boardwalk

Embark on a historical tradition of outdoor painting with guided lessons in the Garden’s tranquil morning light. Through guided exercises and individual practice, you’ll learn to capture the light and compositions using the spontaneity of watercolor. This class is suitable for both new painters and practiced watercolorists. Join us monthly to paint the changing seasons and explore new Garden areas.

The Native Texas Boardwalk is a well-shaded walkway and outdoor classroom, elevated and meandering through a variety of native species of trees and shrubs.

Registration includes Garden admission for the day. We encourage you to explore the Garden after class!
