ASHS Horticultural Landmark Designation Ceremony
Located outside the Garden Center, near the current location of the Naiad sculptures.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden has been selected by the American Society for Horticultural Science (ASHS) as a Horticultural Landmark. This distinction is one of the highest honors given to a horticultural site, recognizing historic, scientific, aesthetic, or environmental significance. The designation reflects FWBG’s combination of historic landscapes, global plant diversity, horticultural conservation, and educational programming.
Founded in 1903, ASHS is a leading organization for horticultural scientists worldwide. Members of the ASHS Board of Directors will join FWBG for this short outdoor ceremony marking the occasion.
