Botanic Garden Reschedules Two Master Plan Public Comment Meetings

Due to inclement weather, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden | Botanical Research Institute of Texas, with Studio Outside, Bennett Partners, and DEI Consultants, have canceled and rescheduled two public engagement meetings to invite feedback on the Garden’s long-term master plan. 

Previously scheduled for Feb. 2, 6:30 p.m. at Chisholm Trail Community Center and Feb. 3, 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Church, the meetings will now take place Feb. 16, 6:30 p.m. at Chisholm Trail Community Center and Feb. 17, 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Church.

Forum agenda formats consist of brief opening remarks with a welcome from City Council members, an overview of Fort Worth Botanic Garden | Botanical Research Institute of Texas, a summary of the master planning process, a brief statement about “why” these meetings are being held, and a series of interactive conversations, listening sessions, and engaging planning activities. With health and safety of all participants a top priority, CDC guidelines will be followed.

Dornith Doherty Art Exhibition Opens Feb. 17  

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is pleased to present “Dornith Doherty: Illuminations: Past, Present, and Future of Fern Research,” an art exhibition free and open to the public from Feb. 17 through Jun. 30 at the Madeline R.
