Krishna Shenoy

Research & Collections
Krishna Shenoy is a librarian and archivist with experience in museums, libraries, archives, and private collections. She was the Librarian at The Sixth Floor Museum in Dallas for eight years and afterwards the Programming Librarian at Bedford Public Library. Her archive experience includes the Brook Hollow Golf Club, the Archives of Women of the Southwest Collection at Southern Methodist University, and a private collection related to the field of journalism. In 2024 she was awarded the Archival Award of Excellence from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for her contribution to the Sherwin Carlquist: Extended Specimen Network. She serves as Secretary on the Library Board for the City of Grapevine and is a longtime member of the Metroplex Archivists group and the Society of Southwest Archivists.
Krishna graduated from the University of North Texas in 2013 with a Master of Library and Information Science degree and received her Bachelor’s in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991.
