The Trial Garden was created to test the performance of perennials in North Central Texas’ climate. A gazebo at the center of the garden is encircled by raised flower beds that house a variety of perennials.

Plant varieties for the garden were originally provided by seed companies and rose growers from across the country. Garden volunteers collect data and help maintain the variety of different plants growing in the garden’s beds.
