Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony

Join us for a captivating experience at the Fall Japanese Festival with a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony! A traditional Japanese tea ceremony, known as chanoyu, is a serene and meticulously choreographed ritual centered around the preparation and enjoyment of matcha powdered green tea. This ceremony embodies harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility, reflecting deep cultural values.

Don’t miss out! Online ticket sales close at noon on Friday, October 31, 2025. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for cash purchases only, so arrive early!

Event Details:

  • Dates: November 1 & 2, 2025
  • Times: 10:00-11:00 am, 11:15-12:15 pm, 1:00-2:00 pm, and 2:15-3:15 pm
    (Note: If a time slot is marked as “tickets unavailable,” it means it’s sold out, so act fast!)
  • Location: Oak Hall, Fort Worth Botanic Garden (inside Garden Center)
  • Please note that tickets do not include tea service; however, delightful tea and snacks will be available for purchase after the ceremony. Enjoy a perfect pairing to complement your experience!

Ticket Prices:

  • Adults: $6.00
  • Children (ages 6-15): $3.00
  • Children (5 & under): Free
