Right Plant, Right Place: Indoor Environments
Well-informed plant selection leads to happier, healthier plants and more confident plant parents. In this indoor planting primer, our expert horticulturist will demystify commonly used terms describing light exposure, soil drainage, and temperature tolerance, and demonstrate how to accurately assess conditions in different areas of your home. You’ll explore which types of plants perform best in common indoor conditions in our region and leave empowered to evaluate your own space and choose plants that are set up for success. Whether you’re interested in houseplants, herbs, or flowering plants, understanding your indoor environment is the key to choosing plants that thrive and bring lasting enjoyment.
Registration includes Garden admission for the day. We encourage you to explore the Garden after class!
