Girls Nature Workshop: Hats on Parade
Together in partnership, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG present the Girls Nature Workshops series! These hands-on programs connect girls and their families to the fascinating world of horticulture and floriculture. Each workshop highlights skills and activities designed to inspire the next generation of plant lovers and environmental stewards.
In this Girls Nature Workshop, participants age 7-12 will step into the enchanting world of botanical arts. They’ll explore how plants and natural elements can inspire fashion and design, then create their own period-style hats adorned with embellished botanicals.
Although Girls Nature Workshops are not specifically designed to meet badge requirements, Girl Scouts are welcome to complete badge work through these programs. Please note: petals or badges are not available on-site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
Date: Saturday, March 14, 2026. Registration closes Wednesday, March 11.
