Fort Worth Public Library Storytime

Join us for a Fort Worth Public Library story time in the Garden. Bring a blanket and enjoy books and songs at 9:30 or 10:30 AM Story time is designed for children of all ages and their grown-ups.

Library cardholders receive free Garden admission until noon. Don’t have a card? Sign up on-site at story time.

Afterward, stroll the Pollinator Pathway StoryWalk and read The Garden Friend, then make your own garden friend with author Mary Frances Baker.

About the Author

Mary Frances Baker grew up exploring the ravine behind her house, building bug homes, chasing frogs and lizards, and gathering honeysuckle and clover blossoms. Those early adventures inspired the woodland and garden scenes she later drew and now shares through her stories, hoping to spark the same wonder in young readers. She lives in Dallas, where she teaches young musicians and looks for chances to get outside with her family.
