Drawing in the Garden: Poinsettias

Engage with nature by discovering and polishing your drawing skills at the Garden! Bring your favorite portable medium and explore a new artistic focus each month. Our award-winning artist instructor will start with a demonstration, then answer questions and provide tips and one-on-one attention throughout a free-drawing session. We will end by gathering to share our experiences and drawings.

In December, stay warm indoors and capture the beauty of a holiday favorite by sketching poinsettias from our living collection and specimens from our herbarium collection.

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025. Registration closes December 3.

Time: 9:00 – 11:00 AM

Price: $35/Adult or $30/Member Adult

Location: Check-in at the West Entrance / Park in West Entrance Lot

Materials: Please bring your favorite drawing pencils, pens and paper.
