Drawing in the Garden: Expeditions through the Lens
Practice your drawing skills with a variety of plant subjects at the Garden! Bring your favorite portable medium and explore a new collection or artistic focus each month. Our award-winning artist instructor will start with a demonstration, then answer questions and provide tips and one-on-one attention throughout an unstructured drawing time. We will end by gathering to share our experiences and drawings.
Stay cool this month drawing in the “Expeditions through the Lens” exhibition, which highlights Carlquist’s powerful observation of nature through his vivid photographs from botanical field studies around the world.
Registration includes Garden admission for the day. We encourage you to explore the Garden after class!
