Explore intentionally out-of-focus photographic elements and practice in the Japanese Garden.

Discover the beauty of bokeh, a Japanese term for to the aesthetic quality of the blur created in out-of-focus parts of a photograph. Join our professional artist instructor to learn the camera settings to achieve the bokeh effect and how to recognize the light and other compositional elements to elevate your photography. With helpful feedback while you experiment in the iconic Japanese Garden, you’ll leave with new skills, inspiration, and meaningful connections to fellow photographers. Perfect for photographers of all levels!

Materials: Bring your camera and a short telephoto lens.
