Free Admission with Free Activities – First Come, First Served
Celebrate the beauty and importance of nature at Neighbors in Nature: An Earth and Arbor Day Celebration on April 25, 2025. Enjoy a day of free admission to the garden, filled with engaging activities and opportunities to connect with the environment. From family-friendly yoga sessions to a ceremonial NASA Moon Tree planting, this event has something for everyone.

Story Walk Family Yoga with Yogi Squad
9:00 AM – 9:30 a.m. Family Yoga with Yogi Squad, a fun, nature-themed yoga session designed especially for kids.

Bella Storytime
10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Children and their families are invited to join Bella the Begonia for a story about nature located at the Fuller Garden Lawn Area.

Forest Therapy Walk
1:30 p.m. – 2:10 p.m. Forest Therapy Walk, experience a guided 40-minute walk in the Japanese Garden designed to promote mental and physical well-being through sensory nature connections.

Sound Bath Experience in the Japanese Garden
2:00 p.m – 3:30 p.m. Sound Bath Experience, immerse yourself in meditative, resonant music for deep relaxation and healing.

Ceremonial Planting of a NASA Moon Tree
3:00 p.m. in the Japanese Garden – a tree whose seeds orbited the moon on the Artemis I mission and are now being planted as a symbol of space exploration and environmental stewardship.

Ground yourself with a stabilizing yoga practice focused on grounding postures, deep breathing, and connecting with nature.
