Homeschool STEM Studio: Bluebird Boxes

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Homeschool STEM Studio is a workshop-style program that allows homeschool students to explore exciting STEM topics through hands-on, project-based learning. From 3D printing to circuitry and everything in between, students will grow their knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, and math through fun and creative activities! Registration for this program includes general admission for the program date.

Build STEM skills and a bluebird box to help our feathered friends! February is the beginning of nesting season for bluebirds in Texas, but due to habitat loss and invasive species, these beautiful birds often have trouble finding a home. Building a bluebird box will help your family bond and learn while providing a safe place for birds to grow their own family – giving you a front-row seat to study them as a community scientist!

Homeschool STEM Studio programs are recommended for children with learning needs equivalent to 3rd through 6th grade.

Monday, February 12th (10:00 am – 11:30 am)

Registration deadline: February 7th

$50 /Family | $45 /Member Family

1 Family Registration Includes: 1 bluebird box kit, tools, instructions (up to five participants), and general admission to the garden for the day
