En Plein Air Watercolor: Oval Rose Garden

Embark on a historical tradition of outdoor painting with guided lessons in the Garden’s tranquil morning light. Through guided exercises and individual practice, you’ll learn to capture the light and compositions using the spontaneity of watercolor. This class is suitable for both new painters and practiced watercolorists. Join us monthly to paint the changing seasons and explore new Garden areas.

Connected to the Rose Garden by a colonnade of stone and wood trellises, this garden and gazebo offer a perfectly paintable juxtaposition of natural and constructed beauty.

Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden after class!
