Begonia Collection – North America’s Largest Begonia Collection

Our Begonia Collection tour meets in the Leonard Courtyard on the second Saturday of most months.

Free with a FWBG membership. There are more than 1,800 species in the genus Begonia. The Botanic Garden collection contains over 350 species and over 600 hybrids, making it the largest begonia collection in North America. In 2015, the FWBG became the first botanic garden in Texas to receive accreditation for its begonia collection through the Plant Collections Network and currently has the only accredited begonia collection in the nation.

Terrain: Flat, even ground, some gravel paths, not wheelchair-accessible
Time: 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
Starting Point: Meet at the Leonard Courtyard at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, 3220 Botanic Garden Boulevard, Fort Worth, TX 76107
Tickets: FWBG Members: $0 – a benefit of your membership!
Non-members are welcome to enjoy the tour with your paid Garden admission.
Availability: First come, first served—up to 20 guests per date.
