Our acclaimed holiday event returns November 17, 2023 - January 1, 2024, with new experiences and reimagined light-filled installations created just for the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Walk, explore, and enjoy the whimsical nature in winter through music, light, fire, and color. Celebrate outside with friends and family at Lightscape, the brightest spot for holiday cheer.
In addition to the captivating light displays, guests will have an opportunity to enjoy festive food and drinks, including roasting s'mores (additional fees apply).
Lightscape is a truly memorable, family-friendly walking event that is perfect for holiday entertainment and gatherings.

Entry times are available every 15 minutes from 5:30 pm - 8:30* pm. Most guests finish the walking trail in 90 minutes. The Garden closes at 10:00 pm on Lightscape evenings.

Tickets for this event are timed in 15-minute increments (first slot, 5:30 pm; last slot, 8:45 pm). Garden closes at 10:00 pm (except 12/24 & 12/31).

No. Admission to Lightscape and the Garden are separate. Lightscape is a ticketed evening event with admissions starting nightly at 5:30 pm. If you wish to visit the Garden during the day, general admission rates apply. If you have both general admission and Lightscape tickets, you must exit the garden by 4:00 pm and return to enter Lightscape at your designated timed entry.
The ANYTIME experience grants exclusive "arrive anytime" access within your chosen date between 5:30 pm - 8:45 pm, and, a parking spot in the onsite parking lot.
This service fee helps ensure the Garden’s commitment to efficient online ticketing and contributes directly to the Garden’s non-profit mission.
We recommend booking in advance online. Each timed entry has a limited capacity, and we expect this event to sell out. You can also purchase parking online before your visit to save time.

Once you are admitted, you do not have a time limit to complete your visit. The Garden closes nightly at 10:00 pm (except 12/24 & 12/31).
Yes. We will accommodate you in the next slots based on availability, but please be aware that there is no entry after 8:45 pm. and the event ends at 10:00 pm. Please ensure you leave enough time to arrive on time if you are traveling a long way.
Choose your date carefully! Please make sure that you have chosen the correct date and time slot at the time of your booking. The Garden is unable to offer exchanges after November 1, 2023. There are no refunds once Lightscape tickets have been purchased. In the event you are unable to use your ticket, please consider your purchase a donation to the Fort Worth Botanic Garrden|BRIT, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Botanic Garden is a living museum. Please enjoy its beauty and leave it in the condition you found it.
Remain on designated paths. Please do not walk through flower beds or foliage.
Lightscape is an outdoor illuminated event. If the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, the Garden’s decision to cancel the event will be made at 2 pm. on the day of the event. If Lightscape is cancelled, you will be notified by text message of any cancellation and the re-booking process. We advise you to check the website and social media for the latest updates before you travel to the Garden.
No fee for rescheduling event tickets that were cancelled by management.
If Lightscape is cancelled in line with the cancellation policy and ticket holders are not able to attend an alternative night offered, then a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The service fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

The new reimagined path is a 1.2-mile-long loop around the Garden.
This is a self-guided walking event, there are no shuttles or tours.
Lightscape is a one-way path.
There will be some lighting sequences that have some flashing lights contained within them; however, there is no strobe lighting.
No pets allowed. Certified Service Animals are allowed.
The route is designed so that it can be navigated on paved paths. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden has manual wheelchairs that can be loaned, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of use; no reservations are accepted. If you have particular access requirements, please call the Garden at (817)332-4441 for further inquiries.
Yes, strollers/wagons are allowed.

Yes! While waiting for the perfect shot please do not block pathways or the view of others. No tripods/monopods are allowed. Photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. No night commercial photography is allowed during Lightscape.
