ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for the third annual Lightscape event, a spectacular collaboration with Sony Music, November 22, 2024 - January 5, 2025. This extraordinary show features custom-designed light installations set against the serene backdrop of nature, creating a festive atmosphere that will enchant guests of all ages. Stroll along sparkling pathways ✨ and marvel at breathtaking, never-before-seen artistic displays from around the globe, immersing yourself in the magic of the holiday season.

In addition to the captivating light displays, guests will have an opportunity to enjoy festive food and drinks, including roasting s'mores (additional fees apply).

Entry times are available every 15 minutes from 5:30 pm - 8:30* pm. Most guests finish the walking trail in 90 minutes. The Event ends nightly at 9:30 pm and the Garden closes at 10:00 pm on Lightscape evenings.

FWBG recommends Trinity Metro's ZIPZONE rideshare option for the easiest and most affordable transportation experience to Lightscape. Rides are a flat $3, with $1.50 for each additional rider, or FREE with the purchase of any multi-ride Trinity Metro ticket. Tickets for this event are timed in 15-minute increments (first slot, 5:30 pm; last slot, 8:45 pm). Event closes at 9:30 pm and the Garden closes at 10:00 pm (except 12/24 & 12/31).

Prices vary, based on the day of the week and the date selected. Advance prices are below (member/non-member). Tickets purchased the day of the event are an additional $5 per ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online. Due to high demand we highly recommend you purchase tickets in advance to ensure your entry. Lightscape does not guarantee ticket availability at the Box Office on the day of the event.

FWBG members may purchase tickets beginning September 9th during our members-only presale.

Lightscape tickets go on sale to the public on September 13th.

Yes, you can become a member online by clicking here or by visiting Guest Services during normal business hours.

No. Admission to Lightscape and the Garden are separate. Lightscape is a ticketed evening event with admissions starting nightly at 5:30 pm. If you wish to visit the Garden during the day, general admission rates apply. If you have both general admission and Lightscape tickets, you must exit the garden by 4:00 pm and return to enter Lightscape at your designated timed entry. 

The Lightscape Anytime experience grants exclusive "arrive anytime" access within your chosen date between 5:30 pm - 8:45 pm and a parking spot in the onsite parking lot. 

This service fee helps ensure the Garden’s commitment to efficient online ticketing and contributes directly to the Garden’s non-profit mission.

Groups of 20+ people receive an automatic 10% discount at checkout. For groups of 40+ people, please contact us at admissions@fwbg.org.

LIGHTSCAPE EXPERIENCE

No pets allowed. Certified Service Animals are allowed.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a no-smoking and firearms-free campus.

Food & Beverages are available at this event. No outside food or drink is allowed. Menu will be added once it has been finalized.

The Botanic Garden is a living museum. Please enjoy its beauty and leave it in the condition you found it.

Remain on designated paths. Please do not walk through flower beds or foliage.

The new reimagined path is a 1.2-mile-long loop around the Garden.

This is a self-guided walking event, there are no shuttles or tours.

Lightscape is a one-way path. 

There will be some lighting sequences that have some flashing lights contained within them; however, there is no strobe lighting.

There is holiday music set loud enough to be heard over a crowd along the trail that may occasionally briefly overlap with adjacent areas of music. If you or anyone in your party may find this overwhelming, please ask our guest services team about complementary earplugs at the start of the trail.

Only service animals are permitted in the Garden – please leave all other animals at home. Animals are not allowed to stay in unattended vehicles.

The route is designed so that it can be navigated on paved paths. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden has manual wheelchairs that can be loaned, free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of use; no reservations are accepted. If you have particular access requirements, please call the Garden at (817)332-4441 for further inquiries.

Yes, strollers/wagons are allowed. 

Food & Beverages are available at this event for an additional fee. No outside food or drink is allowed.

Yes. While waiting for the perfect shot please do not block pathways or the view of others. No tripods/monopods are allowed. Photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. No night commercial photography is allowed during Lightscape.

Drones or any other form of UAV are not permitted.

CANCELLATION, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS

We recommend booking in advance online. Each timed entry has a limited capacity, and we expect this event to sell out. You can also purchase parking online before your visit to save time.

If you wish to buy more than 40 tickets for a group, please contact us at admissions@fwbg.org.

Yes, but subject to a $10 transaction fee per order. This fee applies to members and non-members. Exchanges will not be allowed after November 1, 2024. Please email the Guest Services Team at admissions@fwbg.org to process. Tickets are subject to availability.

Lightscape is an outdoor illuminated event. If the weather presents a hazard and a risk to safety, the Garden’s decision to cancel the event will be made at 2 p.m. on the day of the event. If Lightscape is cancelled, you will be notified by text message of any cancellation and the re-booking process. We advise you to check the website and social media for the latest updates before you travel to the Garden. 

No fee for rescheduling event tickets that were cancelled by management.

If Lightscape is cancelled in line with the cancellation policy and ticket holders are not able to attend an alternative night offered, then a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The service fee is not refundable under any circumstances. 

If your tickets are lost or if you require your E-Tickets to be re-sent to you, please contact us at admissions@fwbg.org.

Please note that you will need to have your order number on hand, and this will render your original tickets invalid.

Once you are admitted, you do not have a time limit to complete your visit. The Event closes at 9:30 pm and the Garden closes nightly at 10:00 pm (except 12/24 & 12/31). 

Yes. We will accommodate you in the next slots based on availability, but please be aware that there is no entry after 8:45 p.m. and the event ends at 9:30 p.m. Please ensure you leave enough time to arrive on time if you are traveling a long way. 

Choose your date carefully! Please make sure that you have chosen the correct date and time slot at the time of your booking. The Garden is unable to offer exchanges after November 1, 2024. There are no refunds once Lightscape tickets have been purchased. In the event you are unable to use your ticket, please consider your purchase a donation to the Fort Worth Botanic Garrden, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  

Your parking pass is valid for the day that you purchased anytime from 5:30pm - 8:45 pm.
