This weekend is bound to be a doggone good time! Enjoy two full days of hanging out with your pup in the beauty of the Garden on September 14-15. Dog Days will be held 8 – 6 p.m. on each of these days and is regular admission for humans and an additional $5 per dog. Hydration stations for dogs will be provided by the Garden across campus.

Join us for the grand opening of ¡Celebramos! 2024, a month-long celebration of Latin American culture and heritage. This year’s festivities begin with a vibrant Latin American Flag Parade and a day of free admission!

Help us celebrate Latin America! Register as an individual, family or as a group (dance, sports, etc.) representing your country of origin. Participants should wear traditional outfits or attire that represents their country of origin, including national sports or soccer team colors. Nomination form can be found here.
*Free admission days are for general admission tickets only. Group ticket sales, special events, and classes are not included. Reserved tickets are not required, but we recommend arriving early as parking is limited. Parking lot updates will be shared on our Instagram Stories.

Together in partnership, the Fort Worth Garden Club (FWGC) and FWBG present the Girls Nature Workshops series! These hands-on programs connect girls and their families to the fascinating world of horticulture and floriculture. Each workshop highlights skills and activities designed to inspire the next generation of plant lovers and environmental stewards.
Although Girls Nature Workshops are not specifically designed to meet badge requirements, Girl Scouts are welcome to complete badge work through these programs. Please note: petals or badges are not available on-site; they can be purchased at the Girl Scout store or online.
This series is recommended for ages 7-12. Registration for this program includes general admission for the program date.
In this Girls Nature Workshop, participants ages 7-12 will learn about the fascinating lives of birds, poultry farming practices, and types of feathers and their many uses. They will also create a masquerade mask using a variety of fabulous feathers.
Recommended learning level: 7-12

Homeschool Days are designed with the unique needs of homeschool students and their families in mind. Come grow with us as we explore environmental science topics through hands-on investigation and engaging activities for the whole family. These programs are sure to energize homeschool students in their quest to discover more about the natural world! Homeschool Day programs are recommended for children with learning needs equivalent to kindergarten through 5th grade. Registration for this program includes general admission for the program date.
Did you know that an eagle’s feathers weigh more than its skeleton? In this Homeschool Day program, students ages 4 to 11 will learn about incredible bird adaptations while engaging in fun STEM activities. Join us as we discover what makes our feathered friends so unique in the animal kingdom (inside and out)!

Calling all Art Adventurers! Engage with the natural world by experimenting with a variety of media and techniques. These monthly classes are appropriate for all ability and experience levels and promote enjoyment over perfection. Enjoy playing with art materials, learning new processes and having fun with our instructor’s open-ended, judgment-free style of art-making! Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before class for inspiration.
Discover the possibilities of altered books — an earth-friendly art approach that focuses on creative reuse, upcycling and reimagining materials! Bring a retired book to transform into a collection of expressive botanical artworks. We encourage you to register for multiple classes and bring the same book to continue altering. In September, we’ll cover different ways to press flowers and leaves and incorporate them in your book.
